Mr. Moriarty serves as principal at HBA. Upon graduating from Heartland Baptist Bible College with a degree in Elementary Education, he began working at the college in preparation for the addition of a new Christian school. In the fall of 2012, he began serving on a planning committee for the soon to be HBA, and was intricately involved in the renovation process of HBA's school buildings. During the spring of 2013, Alan accepted the position of principal and officially began his role in the school on its opening day in the fall of 2013. His favorite aspect of administration is implementing operational and classroom strategies that enable each student's greatest success.

Mrs. Bontrager teaches Kindergarten at HBA. She graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2014 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. During her Senior year at Heartland, Steffenie served as HBA's first secretary intern. After graduation, she taught Pre-Kindergarten 3 for two years at a Christian school in Missouri before returning to HBA in 2016. Her favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the impact the Lord can make in her students' lives and how He can use all the circumstances they face to mold them into usable vessels for his glory.

Mrs. Starleper joined HBA's staff in 2017 assisting in various aspects of the ministry, including: childcare, office assistance, teacher's aid, and elementary Physical Education teacher. In 2018 she transitioned into her current role as HBA's combined 1st and 2nd Grade teacher. Her love for the Lord, respect toward others, and quiet disposition allow her to serve as a tremendous model of Christianity to her students.

Mrs. Dison teaches a combined 3rd and 4th Grade class at HBA. She graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2015 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Prior to teaching at HBA, Mrs. Dison interned as HBA's secretary where she first developed a love for the school and the students. Her favorite aspect of teaching is the opportunity she has to daily influence each child's life to live completely dedicated to the Lord.

Mrs. Moriarty joined the staff of HBA during its charter year in 2013 as the 5th - 12th Grades teacher. Since then she has also taught in our Kindergarten, and Pre-Kindergarten classes, as well as served as our campus Daycare Coordinator. In 2018 she transitioned into her current role of teaching 5th and 6th Grades. Her passion for learning and enthusiastic disposition allow her to push each student to higher levels of success.
