I heard HBA is a lab school of Heartland Baptist Bible College. What does that mean?

A lab school is a school within a college environment. It is designed to provide resources to the Academy in the form of college students aiding and assisting in the classroom, additional services and benefits, college student role-models and mentors, and expertise and experience available in a college setting.

Is the Academy in competition with home-schooling or other Christian schools?

No. Heartland Baptist Bible College has established the Academy as an alternative for those who choose to partner with a Christian school to provide their child with an educational environment beyond the home; one in which parents remain involved in their child’s education, but who have the freedom to pursue ministry, education, or however the Lord leads.
